New Findings
Copptech® technology ELIMINATES AND INHIBITS THE VIRAL REPLICATION OF COVID-19. The technology has been tested at the University of Southampton to assess its effectiveness in eliminating SARS-COV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The studies were performed by Dr. Keevil and his team, where the Copptech Microparticle was able to achieve an impressive 99% of virus elimination. The destruction of the pathogen starts upon initial contact and its effect is fast and permanent. These findings are making us reconsider the way we protect ourselves from viruses and other microbes.
Our products use a certified germ-killing technology - which harness the properties of copper and zinc - that eliminates germs that cause bad odours and skin ailments. This technology is incorporated in the form of yarn or salts.

Tests performed on Copptech® yarn by the Societé Genérale de Surveillance (SGS) and by TUV, to determine the antimicrobial activity of antimicrobial agents under dynamic contact conditions, indicated a reduction of bacteria greater than 99.99% when the bacteria E.Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus made contact with the yarn. Likewise, socks and underwear that use Copptech® yarn have also been tested showing the same results.
Copptech® technology is already registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the United States with an approved Tier I product protection claim which enables the patented formula to be integrated into products to provide them with protection against bacteria, mold, and fungi.
